Arsenal moved to the top of the table following their 3-1 win over Stoke City on Sunday, with Mesut Ozil the creative force. The Germany international had a hand in all three of his side's goals and claimed the man of the match award in Goal's player ratings following a four-star showing.

In the big derby clash of the weekend, Manchester City took United apart at Eastlands as Manuel Pellegrini came out on top against David Moyes, with Sergio Aguero and Samir Nasri among the goalscorers for the hosts.

Vincent Kompany also proved a rock at the back for Pellegrini's men, with the City skipper successfully marshalling Wayne Rooney and Danny Welbeck throughout, hardly giving United's strikeforce a kick during the 90 minutes.
