The Blaugrana youth product is keen to take on his former team, but realises Ajax face a tough task to get a good result
Ajax attacker Bojan Krkic, on loan from Barcelona, is eagerly anticipating his return to Camp Nou and is hopeful of springing a surprise against the Spanish champions.
The 23-year-old moved to the Amsterdam ArenA on a one-year loan this summer after an unsuccessful spell in Serie A with Roma and AC Milan and he is keen to help the Eredivisie champions to a good result against his parent team.
"It will definitely be a special match for me. I'm defending the Ajax colours now, though, and will focus on my own team and game," the Spaniard told Goal.
"There's no doubt about it that it will be a tough game. We're playing the best team and best players in the world.
"But we have to remain positive and not just expect a defeat. We want a good result here and will do our utmost to get it.
"It's still a game of football and anything can happen in the Champions League. We will have to fight hard for it, though. That's the only way to achieve something against a team like Barca."
Wednesday's encounter at Camp Nou will be the first official encounter between Ajax and Barcelona.
