Serie A Team of the Week: Rossi & Pjanic shine again

It was a weekend to remember in Serie A as Giuseppe Rossi, in particular, turned in a performance that will not be forgotten in a hurry. The Fiorentina striker netted a hat-trick in a sensational 4-2 win over rivals Juventus, so the Italy international somewhat inevitably leads the line this week.
Rossi is not the only Viola representative, though, as Spanish duo Joaquin - who netted his side's final goal - and Borja Valero make the cut too.
The impressive performances of Rudi Garcia's Roma have not gone unnoticed either, as the league leaders made it eight wins from as many games with a 2-0 win over Napoli. Mehdi Benatia is the first of threeGiallorossi stars to make it into the team, in central defence, with Maicon lining out on the right-hand side. Bosnian midfielder Miralem Pjanic completes the Roma trio on the back of his two-goal haul at the Olimpico.
The remaining two spots in attack are occupied by Alberto Gilardino and Rodrigo Palacio following their fine performances at the weekend, for Genoa and Inter, respectively. Gilardino's Rossoblu team-mateGiovanni Marchese and Atlanta midfielder Luca Cigarini get the nod, too.
