Schalke midfielder Julian Draxler believes playing for Bayern Munich in the future would help cement his status as a world class player.
The Germany international has been linked with a variety of teams across Europe, most notably Arsenal, Chelsea and Real Madrid, but signed a new contract at the Veltins Arena in May.
However, he has now revealed his admiration for his side's rivals but emphasised his gratitude towards his current employers.
“Players like Basti [Bastian Schweinsteiger] and Philipp Lahm are the best soccer players of our generation,” he told WAZ.
“That’s why Bayern are in my opinion the best team in the world, and I think that world class players always play for the best teams in the world.
“These are for me Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern, Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United.
