The Manchester City captain says he is delighted to be back to full fitness after recovering from a groin problem, and says he cannot wait to take on bitter rivals United
Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany says he feels in "perfect condition" in the build up to this weekend's crucial derby encounter with Manchester United.
The Belgian had been on the treatment table with a groin problem since the first week of the Premier League campaign, but made his comeback in Tuesday's 3-0 Champions League demolition of Viktoria Plzen.
And now he insests he is raring to go against the Red Devils on Sunday.
"I was probably more happy than anyone else to be on the pitch," he told reporters.
"It feels great. I am really happy to be back with the guys and I work hard every single day to make sure I can play as many games as possible
